Martin Family HVAC Inc. was founded by Cindy & Will Martin. This couple met over 15 years ago while working for one of the largest commercial HVAC contractors in Orange County. Together they forged new market segments focused on energy efficiency retrofits which led to significant company growth.
Cindy was a well established project manager in the commercial HVAC industry before starting this business venture. She has built everything from chilled water central plants to semi conductor facilities. She goes out of her way to help clients. She has been the backbone of most of Will’s successful business ventures as he would sell it and she would build it. After becoming a mother, the long commutes to job sites were something she wanted to get away from. Therefore she got together with her husband and decided to form a company that allowed her to use her skills to help people while still being a mother to her children. She is responsible for the day to day operations and serves the company as President & CEO Cindy Martin.
Will Martin oversees all sales efforts for the organization and provides technical support to the field team. Being born into the HVAC business, he watched his mother and father run John A. Martin Heating & Air based out of San Dimas, CA for over 40 years. Wanting to be his own person, Will ventured off into the commercial world. He attended Mt San Antonio College in addition to being a graduate of the UA Local 250 apprenticeship program. Will is respected as one of the best analytical minds in regards to systems in Southern California. He is know for outside the box thinking coupled with technical expertise. He has designed equipment & controls systems for original equipment manufacturers, in addition to doing product development and running large commercial HVAC firms.
Today, the couple has three children: Andrew, Alaina, & Austin. It was the desire to do better for their children and the community they live in which led the decision to open Martin Family HVAC. Every year, the Martin Family sponsors unknowing families in their local community with meals and gifts at the holidays, in addition to helping as many students they can at their children’s elementary school with school supplies and tablets. It is important for us to help those who truly need it and give back. Our commitment is the more we grow, the more we do. It is the only way we can make a difference.
